The Niedax Group is acquiring the Spina Group, one of Italy's leading manufacturers of cable management systems and distributors of electrical materials for industrial plants. The takeover took place on May 28, 2024.

In addition to the joint venture with FEMI-CZ and Steel Line CMS, which already exists since 2016, the Niedax Group is strengthening its position in the Italian market with the acquisition of the Spina Group. Niedax expects this to create synergies and joint growth opportunities that offer added value for customers of the entire group of companies.

The Spina Group offers integrated solutions for customers in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, infrastructure and the marine and energy sectors. The product portfolio includes cable trays and explosion-proof materials.

The group was founded in 1990 and employs more than 100 employees at its headquarters in San Giuliano Milanese near Milan and eight other locations worldwide.  In addition to its domestic market, Spina is particularly active in the large-scale project business in Central America and Africa.
