As last year, the BVB EVONIK Football Academy visited the Kaisersberg Stadium. The BVB coaches guided the participating kids through the day in collaboration with the volunteer VfB youth coaches. At eight stations, the focus was on agility, team spirit, and, of course, athletic ambition.
Shortly before the end of the sports session, BVB mascot Emma surprised the participating children once again. The black-and-yellow bee patiently posed for selfies and signed autographs. At the end, all participants received medals, certificates, and a BVB training outfit—the perfect motivational boost for the rest of the sports week!
Projects like this again demonstrate that, in line with our overarching partnership motto, “Connected with certainty”, we can build genuine partnerships between professional and grassroots sports, create real social value and provide young people with access to community, fair play, a healthy lifestyle, volunteerism and personal development.
